What are you passionate about?

The common thread in my contemplations and conversations recently has been regarding passion, desire and will.

I believe that creating lasting lifestyle changes requires a strong desire for change. We must engage our will and uncover the answers to the following questions as we embark on the journey of mindful living.
What are you passionate about?
What do you desire in your life?
Why is this important to you?

I am personally and professionally passionate about health & wellness, the desire to be and feel healthy impacts all the decisions I make it my life. My inner fire blazes which keeps me motivated to keep taking steps towards my dreams.

Why is health and wellness so important? For me great health = freedom. I want to be strong, active and expressive in my body, open and loving in my heart and engaged and refined in my mind. The why fuels my desire to make healthy choices every day.

Check out this short video inquiry to stoke the inner fire of passion in making choices.

Now ask yourself:
What am I passionate about?
Do I spend time and energy on the activities and with the people that light me up?
What action can I take today to make more space in my life for the things I love?

I am passionate about helping my Feldenkrais® colleagues who are struggling build great practices. I love what I’m doing, and in fact, I think I spend so much time on it, that it would be good if I could become passionate about, say… taking a vacation! Thanks for the spur!

Thanks Chris, we are passionate about passion, seriously!  A life of passion is one that is alive and “feels”, helping others find what they are passionate about is a blessing, a life without passion is often the norm for most people and is such a waste of human potential.  We love your passion, keep that fire blazing lovely

I am passionate about living a Spirit filled life through meditation. Every day is a new journey that is unfolding through my consciousness and into the form of healthy mind, healthy body, harmony with family and business.  I listen each day for that still small voice and allow it to unfold as the will of my source.  Thank you for sharing your passion Chris with such Grace.

Chris, thank you for asking me/us/the world these questions!  It’s nice to hear them outside of my head for a change!  I have been trying to answer these questions for myself for some time now and I hope that I will soon have the answer that I have always dreamt of!

These are excellent questions and you have me thinking. I want as you said “good health, because that means a certain freedom.” Due to a variety of genetics, accidents, and who knows what, I have suffered many years of poor health. I have personally researched and found many answere just as you have, in mindful living, deep breathing, massage, meditatin, excercise, movement, positive thinking, health eating, fasting, etc. all which are some of my best medicines. Interestingly, my first signs of illness came when as a gymnast I fell from the unevens onto the floor supporting bar, and fractured my coccoyx and in time developing spinal problems. But through these good things mentioned above, I find the best forms of pain relief, energy, and even ability to obtain deep slurp.
